Talk: Surveying Trees for Bats: Can we do better?

Please join us for a talk by Jim Mulholland, where he will discuss the different methods of surveying trees for bats and whether we can improve our understanding of tree roots. More details to follow soon. All members very welcome but likely to be of particular interest to ecologists and bat workers. Non- members will be asked for a small contribution for entry on the night or your household can join for £10 per year.

It's back! Our annual event, Big Bat Night at the Knapp and Papermill reserve will be returning in 2019. This event is open to the public, so please feel free to come along and bring any friends, family or passers-by who want to see and hear bats in their natural habitat. NATIONAL BAT MONITORING PROGRAMME 2019 CROOME COURT LESSER HORSESHOE BAT ROOST COUNTS

1st June 2019 at 8:00 am - 5:00 pm

Members are invited to join in with the annual count of Lesser Horseshoe Bat maternity roosts at Croome Court, near Pershore. Absolutely no previous experience is necessary. There are two roost sites, one in an interesting WW2 buildings and one in the Temple Greenhouse. We will split into two groups to count both roost. Please check your emails for details of this event and to register your response.
